i posted that i needed a roommate for august. so far, i havnt has any seriose inquiries......except from people in africa. i had 2 emails from 'gucci models who are from the US but now live in africa and need a room for rent'.......a preacher of GOD (he emailed me and capitilized all the 'gods' and said he needed a place to stay so he can preach) and i also recieved one from a woman who wanted her family to move in (the email looked like an african name). i wrote that i live in student housing and theres always parties upstairs (as a warning).
WTF is all this? is there a scam i should know about? lol

I am no rocket scientists, but....
there are always scams. These all smell bad, I'd google some of the response text and see what comes up. You may have stumbled upon some craigspam.
